The Ultracentric Centurion

For the sixth consecutive year The Ultracentric will again offer The UC Centurion Award. The UC Centurion is accomplished by walking 100 Miles or better in one consecutive 24 hour period. The UC Centurion will be held concurrently with The Ultracentric’s 24 Hour National Championship.

To participate register for The Ultracentric 24 Hour, and select “Walk” option when offered during the registration process. Upon completing The Ultracentric 24 Hour registration, email The Walking Divisions Director Scott Demaree from the Contacts tab, or here.

The Ultracentric Course is a USATF Certified Course, and Sanctioned Event. Therefore USATF Rules are enforced.

The continuous contact rule is in effect, other form rules will not be enforced, ie. the straight leg rule.

Each UC Centurion participant will be permitted one rule infraction. On first rule infraction the participant will be counseled by a Course Marshal. A second rule infraction will lead to disqualification from The UC Centurion Award, and prize money eligibility.  The Ultracentric Walking Divisions Director Scott Demaree is responsible for the Course Marshals, and their on course rulings. All rulings made by Director Demaree are final, with no grievance, or appeals process.
