MOUNTAIN BIKE
Welcome to The Ultra Centric Experience Mountain Bike Endurance Challenge. You, and your team will race against the clock on eight miles of North Texas’s most challenging trails of Erwin Park, McKinney, Texas.

All Mountain Bike Team Events start with the corresponding Solo Start.- You, and your team are responsible for wearing your Electronic Chip.
- NO lap credit will be given without your Chip.
Mountain Bike Start Times
- 48 Hour Mountain Bike Solo- Friday, November 14, 10 am
- 24 Hour Mountain Bike Solo- Saturday, November 15, 10 am
- 12 Hour Mountain Bike Solo- Saturday, November 15, 10 am
- 6 Hour Mountain Bike Solo- Saturday, November 15, 11 am
You must allow two hours prior to your event start time to store your event gear in the Mountain Bike Tent. All bags must have you name, team name, and race number displayed four inches or larger, and be water proof.
The Mountain Bike Tent is not Waterproof, nor a secure area. You must make prior arrangements for important items; plane tickets, pass ports, wallets, etc.
- The event is not responsible for items in The Mountain Bike Tent.
- A Charging Station foe Cycling Lamps will be available near The Mountain Bike Tent for the duration of all events.
- The Ultra Centric Experience Mountain Bike Endurance Challenge is USA Cycling Sanctioned, all USA Cycling Rules apply.
- You are responsible for wearing your electronic chip for the duration of the event, and navigating your Mountain Bike over all Electronic Reading Mats on the Mountain Bike Course.
- NO credit will be given to laps without complete timing results.
- Five Electronic Timing Mats may be in use on the Mountain Bike Course.
- Stay on the inside of all survey tape denoting the Mountain Bike Course.

- You must agree to abide by the “Parking Procedures” to participate in The Ultra Centric Experience, and confirm this adherence by answering “yes”, during the registration process.
- Aid Station Use Rule-Very Important
- The Mountain Bike has a specifically designated Mountain Bike Aid Station.

- Only Mountain Bike entrants are permitted to visit the Mountain Bike Aid Station. Mountain Bike participants are not permitted to use the Running Aid Station.
- Very Large signage is posted on both aid stations.
- Disqualification of you, and your team will result in violation of the Aid Station Use rule.


Camping Availability
Camping in Erwin Park is provided for The Ultra Centric Experience participants, teams, and support crews for NO additional cost. Personal Supplies, Support Crews, and Teams for all participants may access camping by driving through the park prior to their event (please see Site Plan, found under "Course" Tab from home page).
Please note, out of town participants may use event provided infrastructure, and aid stations.
The infrastructure provided by the event is self-sufficient, and self contained; everything a participant needs. Determine the most convenient area for your access to your event course. Once your vehicle is unloaded please proceed to school parking, and return via the shuttle. No vehicles may be left in Erwin Park.
You may select any area, except areas previously roped off for event infrastructure.Camping for described users is offered on a FIRST COME, FIRST SEARVED BASIS.
The areas offered are very large, and all parties will be accommodated. Open flames are only permitted in the permanent structure fire pits
Inclement Weather/Rain-Out Policy
- In the event of rain prior to, or after the start of The Ultra Centric
Experience, the Mountain Bike Event Organizer may close the Mountain Bike
Course. - In the event of the Mountain Bike Course closure prior to the start, or
during The Ultra Centric Experience the Event Organizer will exercise one of
two options. - The Ultra Centric Experience Mountain Bike Events will be rescheduled within
ninety days, or, the entrants will be refunded his/her entry fee, less a
$20.00 dollar administrative fee. - The decision of the Event Organizer will be made public within ten days of
the Rain-Out, with rescheduled event details. - The Event Organizers decision is final, and applied to the entire event
field, no exceptions.
