Mountain Bike
48, 24, 12, 6 Hour & The Mighty Electric 100 Mile

The Ultra Centric Experience Mountain Bike events start in Murrell Park, on the north shore of Lake Grapevine, Flower Mound, Texas, November 20-22, 2009. T

he Ultra Centric Mountain Bike format is unique by design to introduce Mountain Bikers to exceed their self imposed limits of endurance. The Ultra centric was the worlds first 48 Hour Mountain Bike event and continues the tradition of pushing endurance limits. New members to the sport may select a modest 6 hour solo, or endurance junkies might go for the gusto; the 12, 24, or the 48 Hour Solos. The weekend also offers a four person 24 Hour Relay; teams compete for the greatest distance, with one team member on the 16 mile one-way loop at a time. The experience provides valuable insight to the workings of completing an endurance event. The entrants and spectators can observe just how the experienced riders command their; caloric needs, hydration, pace, and mechanical aspects of endurance events.

The overwhelmingly user friendly site plan is designed to accommodate entrants needs without the use of a support crew, or handler. A participant can certainly be competitive without these needs. The Aid Station serves hot lasagna, soups and pastas, in addition to traditional aid station nutrition. The aid station is placed right next to the 16 mile loop, for easy access every loop. Seasoned bike mechanics provided by Bicycles Plus will keep bikes running smoothly the duration of all events. Weatherproof, and heated participants “Green Room” is available to provide a rest stop, and, effortless electronic timing all compliments
